oru rathriyude vishesham....

tell me what can happen at nights wen its raining, the cold breeze sweeps inside your bedroom covering you with its sweet scent of soil? i know some of you are getting naughty in your headset!!! typical mallu behavior, ok athu pote*! :) so wat i was telling was about the rain and its aftereffects.

its was like one of those movie scenes, the rain was pouring hard. as usual the elecricity was prompt to go off! i was lying, cuddled with my soft pillow and the bed sheet over my head. that's wen i heard a sweet voice, a shadow of hand on my face was closing in and much closer it came and took off the sheet from my face. do you know how pissed-off you get, wen someone does it? :) but if its of some one you love, its like heaven. so wen the veil was lifted, like wat we have in the happy dent ad, a cluster of tooth spread light on my face! do you know to whom did this precious art belong? it belonged to bijo my dear friend. and what did he say?(mallu lingo) "eda nammuku ponmudyil* pokam!!!" (tamil) "appa nee enna sholren, eniku onnume puriillen, ennu naan ente mansil sholi koduthu" conversation translated as "friend can we go to golden hair"??? pon=golden, mudi=hair for all of the english ppl out there. "father wat are you telling, i don't know anything, i told my heart."( this joke stinks, big time!!!)

so that night two mad people were born when the clock ticked 1am. so wat did we do next? we plan a night trip to one of the most precious gift of God -ponmudi, trivandrum's won and wonly hill station. it was 8:30pm that we started from our home traversing to ponmudi. the clouds preganant with water was ready to pour out at any time, the mild dampness in the air was encouraging cos we wanted to feel how the drops felt wen it touched our warm skin. with ears open we geared to our destination. the skies opened its womb to send two or three of its progenies. it went sliding from our face, grabbed by the ferocious hands of wind to void of darkness. soon we reached the place called 'vithura' or what i call 'adivaram' or in angalya basha 'valley'. now a distance of 30 kms stood like a gaint in fron of us, but what can a monster do to the determination of men?" conquring him by parts we reached a place where we were spell bound by the magnficance of the creator. the milky white moon's hands reached the grounds of mortal men who were conjured to deaden thier wheels. it was a spectacular scene to see the moon thru the gap of woods, while the crickets and the night speakers were alive and talking. kicking our wheels to life, we began our travel to the top of the hill station. as we climbed up mist or fog whatever you call it, welcomed us. it was hard for us to find the road, as it thickened as the roads led us up.

Soon the haven that we were waiting was in our sights. it wasn't chilly, quite strange for a hill station, we were in our t shirts! comforting ourselves in a comfy room by KTDC for some minutes. we came out to experience the night which stood like a beautiful women clothed in a black velvetty robe, her neck adorned by precious platinum and diamond jewellery, with a dash of opulent perfume. i don't want to go on, you experience it by yourself.

Morning came like a victorious warrior out from the battle field. but we were still on the bed except Bino (bijo's bro) and Rana(bino's friend) they were out enjoying the morning and sipping hot coffee. after dressing, we went to the topmost part of the hill. man it was just awesome, the mist covered us, i don't know how water came but our beard and hair were drenched in it.  it was quite interesting to see the drops like diamond. naature's emblelishment. :). we spent hours hugging mist and bijo busy on his phone. who was it buddy? :) at 10' o clock the space was engulfed in mist. man we never wanted to climb down. but we had to, coming down we walked towards the tiny forest on ponmudi hill. going inside we tasted the sweet forest stream. enjoyed the chat of crickets and immersed ourselves into the sweet melody of birds. it was a great experience being inside the womb of nature. well nature didn't want us to forget our responsiblity or did the divine intervene to get us out from there?it was that tiny leech that was used. drinking blood without our permission! bad leech adutha pravishyam kanichutharam eh!
angane manasilla mansode we started off to our homes. had kidilam kappa and beef on the way.

and from heaven we came down to our homes. ;) ! ithakunnu oru rathriyude vishesham. oru thanupulla rathryil enthelam sambhavikummennu ipol manasilayile? ini ningalku urangam! vendum chilla vattaan ideas varete ennu prarthichu kondu. shuba rathri

who is literate? chayakadakaran or sayipu?

what makes me write this blog is i have seen people lament over the fact that they can't speak good english. well you may ask if you are in america what will you do without english? the question that you asked now is a real spoiler so i m not answering it right now. we have flight-full of ameri "cans" and brti "shers" landing and flying off our land. how do they communicate? speaking their language to us indians who they say we are illiterate and poor!

have you ever thought these "sayipanmars" in mallu llingo can't ever speak mallu or any other indian language. but even the chaya kadakaran in kerala know tit-bit english by which he makes a profit. so who is the literate and knowledgable person here? the much glorified "sayip" or the lungi wearing chaya kadakaran aka tea maker :)!!!!! you guessed it right its the chaya kadakaran he is the one with brain here.

We indians are still living in slavery of "overseas thoughts", we believe everything that the sayipanmar does is great but what we do are gross. people its right time to realise the true value that we hold, and move accordingly. live in freedom!!!
