Cattle thought

Cattle thought

Do you think that bovines can talk? Well if you think they can’t. Then I’m here to prove you wrong. So when did these, grass eating, peace-loving, four legged dirty creatures, always-valued-for-udders start to think? No my story doesn’t start with cliché of our long-living tales of our time “long time ago...” But I would say these cattle thought began soon after the technological advancements and when its feeders started to be more mechanized and corrupted than ever, and when all the cattle got a tiny black box with them that could read their tiny minds and coded them into words which was decoded and given to the reading cattle. Wow, what an idea sirjee!!!

So here I’m to say a story about a feeder of a “Cattlement”. Here it starts with the cliché, “once there lived a mighty, intelligent and handsome feeder. He dreamt that his Cattlement should be the cleanest, bestest and the most “graze-iable” Ments. For that he went to all the tiny stables in his Ment implored to them “all of you, my beloved cattle and bovine friends, do you know the udders that you posses has great powers vested inside? Give me your udders and I will give you the most graze-iable Ments that you have ever seen.” Believing his pep-talk and the promise of the “Bestest-ment”. Every one of them came to the place he wanted, gave him 100,000 liters from their udders, more liters than his rival feeder could ever dream-off. Rejoiced all the bovine and cattle sent this feeder to the capital of Ments. Dreaming of evergreen pasturelands and more grass to eat. Little did they know that this feeder of theirs, soon after reaching the capital, wouldn’t travel with them, he said he was nauseated by them and chose to live among the golden toothed feeders. But his cattle were generous in their thoughts (or was it their tiny brains didn’t suffice to think beyond?) and brayed “he is intelligent feeder. He knows what he is doing.” Was it just a happenstance that the cattlement became clean and progressed, or did the feeder keep his word?” The bovine-wizard asked other bovines. Faithful bovines of the feeder said, “He has kept his word”

And as the legends say, a great happening happened one day. A clown renowned for his entertainment came visiting to this cattlement. This clown had the special ability to make the stubbornly un-laughable cattle laugh and give out more from his udder. So the feeder thought it to be a great idea. With a smiling face, the feeder came, stood and said thru the magic-box “my dear bovines and cattle-friends, I stand here with the greatest entertainer of the world, who has promised us a ‘laughing-stock’ of our own. This stock will give you the rare opportunity to stand before other stocks and prove that our Ment is the best Ment in everyway. You can dine with the clown; he has imported fresh grass for you to have.” And, so the party began! Until, the clown revealed his own self, underneath that shady skin was a monster. Green skinned and with dangerous red-eye. He came, stood, spoke thru the magic box. “Do you know you foolish cattle, this feeder of your is not true, he has fooled you. He has taken some choicest fodder and has given to his friend feeder. The cattle were taken aback, they said among themselves “our feeder will not do that, we trust him” but this trust of his cattle was not there among his co-feeders, whose eyes always shone green when this feeder was before him and also because he had a bigger-better-brain than them, talked nice and the magic-box was always behind him. Sadly and soon, this feeder was made just-another-Member of Feeders Association.
After watching this, the cattle wizard said “today we are loosing one of the greatest feeders of our time just because of a clown and a lousy white haired, green eyed, close-to-home co-feeder and his comrades. Also, our feeder happened to be at the wrong side of the boat, was too naïve to hold his friend feeder close and didn’t have the copy of chanakya-neeti in his hand. But what the clown and the monster don’t know is the dreams of cattle in this cattlement haven’t gone off with our feeder, but it will rise again, higher than they can ever expect. And feeder we want you to know, leave all the cattle talks behind, start off afresh. We are with you”

Now, do you say that cattle don’t think?
